The point of steganography is the fact that nobody will ever try to look for the secret file that was created, because “they” have no reason to believe that it exists in the first place. The process of encrypting data typically produces chunks of illegible scrambled text, which can alert 3rd parties to the fact that data is in fact encrypted. It is often vitally important that business information remains invisible when transmitted. But sending visibly scrambled and encrypted messages can be detected easily.
Steganography solves this problem because it hides your sensitive information within image files such as holiday pictures. The files can be of any type and the number of files hidden per image is not limited. The hidden files have multiple layers of encryption and it would not be practical for anyone to try and decrypt.
The files are first compressed and stored in a non-standard format. They then have two types of Encryption applied to the file. Next the file is encrypted again using a Unique password supplied by the user and finally it is encrypted again with a different key and merged with the image. The file created will look like any other image file and will be displayed as an image.
Digital Media Processing Project. Image Processor is a small tool that allows you to perform various functions on multiple images. A powerful and easy to use tool for image processing and editing. With its intuitive and beautiful Graphical User Interface, a great collection of painting tools, and simple-to-use photo correction tools Image Processor is an excellent tool for users who don’t quite need the features of Photoshop and other expenssive tools.
The problem with many image editors is that they’re large and cumbersome or they can0t edit batches of programs in one swoop. This is not the case with GIMP which is an excellent batch processor for images and files that allows you to perform a whole host of functions with batch image processing in mind. If you need to manage a large number of photos and rename them all or at least change their location, then you’ll certainly find some use for this program. One of the advantages is it allows batch processing of thumbnail resizing which allows you to specify a particular width or height or define fixed image dimensions. You can then superimpose text onto these thumbnails or photos (useful to stop copyright infringements). If you need your photos in a variety of formats, then you can also batch convert pictures to GIF, JPG, PNG, BMP, MIFF, TIFF, PCX or TGA. Best of all, you’re not restricted to one format at a time . you can select a whole bunch and then specify what format you want certain ones to change into. The icing on the cake is an FTP client which, while not exactly sophisticated (or particularly reliable in terms of maintaining connections), allows you to upload your photos to the net as quickly as possible directly from the application.
A very useful tool for anyone that has to process batches of photos at the same time or needs a very lightweight photo and thumbnail processor.
Just download the zip file, and extract the contents to a writable folder of your choice. It is just a single executable, no installation needed. Create a shortcut to tinyimageprocessor.exe and that is it.
Yes, I am a little begger. But I am saving for a modern PC. Current one is 11 years old…
