Developer’s Description:

This book contains more than three hundred hours’ worth of learning materials which teachers can use to create fun and interesting spoken English lessons for their students. The units are: Learning English, Films, Hospital, Books, Airport, Money, Places in the UK, Politics, Internet, and Australia.

This book provides over three hundred hours of learning resources that teachers may use to create enjoyable and engaging spoken English classes for their students.

After finishing Books 1 and 2, I developed the Talk a Lot Elementary Handbook, which includes all of the directions and preparatory materials required to organize a Talk a Lot course. There are no instructions in this book.

I was able to create several new activities for Book 3, so while Talk a Lot standards (such as Sentence Blocks and Discussion Questions) and favorites (such as Role Plays and Information Exchanges) remain, this book also includes new original activities for practicing connected speech (Connected Sentence Cards and Connected Speech Templates), text-based speaking and listening work (Multi-Purpose Texts), and pair or group discussions.

This book then provides a far greater range of chances for teaching spoken English than the previous two course books, with exercises tailored to learners from a wide range of backgrounds and learning styles. The contents of the modules in this book were intended to be stimulating and intriguing to this level’s teenage and adult learners. Each unit includes at least thirty hours of educational materials.
