InstrumentLab VCL is a set of controls and visual instruments that can provide advanced computer users such as software developers with several components they can implement in their applications. It is widely used in control and DSP (Digital Signal Processing) applications such as real-time data monitors, process controls, data visualization, signal analysis, video analysis or digital signal analysis.

The instruments are based on GDI+ and can be composited, in case they are being used with Delphi/C++ Builder. This set of controls is integrated by relying on MMX optimized libraries that are used to perform plotting calculations. InstrumentLab VCL was designed mainly for fast data plotting applications, such as audio processors, video and image processing and DSP.

Among the controls and instruments bundled in this set, users can find controls for LEDs, progress bars, analog clocks, angular gauges, linear gauges, thermometer gauges, segment indicators, segment gauges, segment clocks, segment texts, spectrums, matrices or glass panels.

Some of the controls can be customized. For instance, the LED controls can be turned on or off and their color can be changed. Progress bars’ colors can be modified and it’s also possible to make them display progress with or without bars. Their borders can be customized as well. The glass panels can be placed on top of other components so that a glass cover appearance is created.
